With two hours before the castle’s departure to begin the assault on Berdusk, the adventurers are separated by their foes.
With the wind’s help, the party locates the “grounded” castle, but sneaking in won’t be a walk in the park.
The adventurers arrive in Berdusk, where rumors are spreading about attacks in other towns—similar to Greenest.
Celestine and Izzy have unexpected guests as they wait for Usarkar and Wesley’s return. They learn that Greenest wasn’t the only town attacked by the dragon cult.
Inclement weather proves to be the greatest enemy in the adventurers’ trek to Berdusk. Izzy and Wesley also seem to be experiencing unknown magical effects that could threaten the rest of the party.
The adventurers find themselves in dairy straits as cows threaten to trample them to their deaths while on the road to Berdusk. And if the cows don’t kill them, setting the fields on fire might finish the job.
At Governor Nighthill’s request, the adventurers make preparations to leave Greenest. Dangers lurk on the road to the city of Berdusk.
The townspeople of Greenest begin to pick up the pieces after the previous night’s attack. The adventurers decide what to do next.
